• Senior Project Engineer for a section of works, with responsibility for 14km rail civil works including bulk earthworks (400,000m3), drainage (46 large drainage structures) and Roadworks (diversions to an existing road and 9 permanent intersections).
• Other works include a complex extension and strengthening works to 2 x 2900mm dia CMPs utilising pipe winching, 1 x 6.3m dia CMP and 3 x 2900mm dia CMPs with shotcreteing works. Responsible for determining a system, procuring materials and specialist subcontractors that could safely achieve the requirements within the allowable timeframes.
• Responsible for a team of site engineers, foreman and subcontractors to ensure the project is completed safely and with a high degree of quality within the tight rail corridor.
